When engineers from a tuning company work on a Lamborghini to bump the engine’s output they usually slap on a couple of turbochargers and call it a day. However, VF Engineering has decided to go down the supercharging route. Case in point, this Huracan now has an Eaton TVS2300 supercharger increasing power of the V10 5.2-liter from the series 602 bhp (449 kW) and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) to a massive 805 bhp (600 kW) and 610 lb-ft (826 Nm) of torque.

The VF800 kit developed by the Californian tuner also includes a custom aluminum intake manifold and a dual-air water charge cooler system. The whole package will set you back $32,995 and in return you’ll also get a Bosch water pump, K&N induction filters, remapped engine ECU, and a high-density water radiator.

Tesla Motors has announced a new entry-level Model X carrying a starting price of $80,000

Tesla to launch more affordable Model X 70D from $80,000

Tesla to launch more affordable Model X 70D from $80,000.

After several delays, Tesla introduced the production version of the Model X back in September with a range-topping P90D model kicking off at $132,000. If that doesn’t fit your budget, the electric SUV is about to get more affordable 90D and 70D editions. The latter will cost $80,000 (plus $1,200 for shipping) and as the name implies it will have a 70 kWh battery pack with enough juice to provide a driving range up to 220 miles (354 km). The optional six-seat version costs an extra $3,000, while a seven-seater configuration adds $4,000.

Although it’s the weakest version of the range, the Model X 70D is still able to run the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in just six seconds. For those in need of more electric punch, the 90D will complete the task in 4.8 seconds and is going to provide a maximum range of 257 miles (413 km).

Hyundai reveals US-spec Elantra with 1.4 turbo engine.

The 2016 Elantra is almost identical to its Korean cousin – the Avante, revealed two months ago, differing only by the chromed radiator grille and LED daytime running lights. The 4.57 meters long sedan has a drag coefficient of 0.27 thanks to air curtains in the front fascia and underbody cladding.

The company explains the machine is not only lighter than its predecessor, but its chassis is now reinforced with 53 percent advanced high-strength steel compared to 21 percent in the outgoing model. This results in a 29.5 percent stiffer torsional rigidity and 25.3 percent greater bending strength, which bring “improvements in vehicle ride and handling, quietness, durability and driving performance.”
